This website documents my experience with Samsung’s SSD warranty process and why I believe customers are being scammed.
In my case, Samsung repaired but refused to return my NVMe SSD. Instead, they offered a refund based on the original purchase price from years ago—rather than replacing the drive or compensating at today’s market value.
With current demand and pricing pressures in the memory/NAND market, customers shouldn’t be left with less than the cost to replace what they sent in.
